Perfect fit for my 4.0! As others have noted in their reviews, you will need 2ea if you are replacing both heater core hoses, there is not another part number for the other hose. Place this one on the other port from the heater core and cut to the needed length, done! May as well do both anyway, 1 had an issue, the other will soon! Little weird but they do FEEL & LOOK like good quality hoses, as they are.

No where online did I see a clear statement that indicated this so im letting everyone know that the upper and lower heater hoses are the same part...just one has to be cut a few inches shorter! I forget which one had to be trimmed (upper or lower) as i installed them on my 2000 grand cherokee 4.0 a few weeks ago but one hose was a near perfect factory fit and the other had to be trimmed. Make sure you keep in mind the proper routing of the hoses before removing (you don't want to switch the connections going to the heater core). Lay the shorter old hose next to this new part...double check and measure twice...and make the cut. The inner hose diameters fit fine on the heater core connections and t stat housing. Good quality product at a decent price.If you want to replace your heater hoses in a jeep grand cherokee wj 4.0 get 2 of these! One will fit as-is and one must be trimmed.
