I bought this kit for my 2001 Audi TT Quattro with the 1.8T AMU engine. It is identical to the kit you'll get from Audi, sans the Audi logos. I figured this out after receiving a damaged genuine Audi timing kit and buying this to replace it. Paint marks, casting marks, etc, are all identical.Parts are good quality and work well. Installation was a real pain mostly because you can't remove the passenger-side engine mount bracket without also removing the timing belt tensioner, so getting it out and getting the new belt in is a real juggling act. Use a bungee-cord with one-end attached to the bracket and the other end hooked to the hood, to support the weight of the bracket and keep it out of the way. Stage it like this: Route the timing belt around the pulleys. Then put the engine bracket in but don't bolt it to anything. Then support its weight with that bungee. Then install the idler pulley. Then install the tensioner. Then bolt the bracket in place. Then release the tensioner plunger.It's a good kit and it's the OE kit. So save yourself some $$ and buy this for your Audi instead. You'll get OE parts for 1/3 the price.
