Good case, thick padding. No YKK mark on the zippers, which makes me question their authenticity ... but Gator says they are indeed YKK. Absolutely criminal that the bass drum bag does not have a shoulder strap. Had to attach my own from old luggage. Other than that, the only other flaw is that the angled zipper opening is unnecessary and annoying.

Perfect bag for my snare drum (Ciaxa). It is big and a bit bulky, but it also has plenty of room and provides a lot of protection for both my drum and accessories. Very durable material with excellent and secure stitching. One complaint is that it doesn't have any loops or hooks to snap on a shoulder carry strap which would be nice. Otherwise, all OK.

I received this item a few weeks ago and was immediately impressed with it. Frankly, I am using it to store my Rogers Dynasonic snare drum. I am long passed traveling or playing gigs at events. Still, I wanted a case that was deserving of protecting this somewhat iconic drum from my youth. The velvet red lining and sturdy yet soft sides are quite adequate. In addition, this case has a pocket to accommodate sticks, and other small items. For me, I keep a book of 150 rudiments so that I can practice. Whether I reach the level I once did is questionable. But this case will keep everything safe until the drum is handed on to my son-in-law. :-)

We've had several cases that did not really stand up to the wear. Other, more expensive cases had issues with the interior material becoming gummy as it broke down, smearing the drums and was a mess to clean up. These cases have a nice soft, cushioning material and include an extra small accessory compartment. They are much better priced than the leading competitors and they are made much better. That, alone, is worth it. Definitely recommended.

These are nice & thick and I love the red velvet interior. I feel like my DWs are pretty well protected in these. The price point was not bad either. I might buy some more for my other drums at some point. If you don't us a cart for your drums, you'll notice that the handles are kind of tight making it hard to bundle 2 or more drums in one hand. Maybe some hooks for optional longer straps would be nice. The handles as well as the overall cases in general seem pretty rugged.

These drum bags are beautiful! They are well made, nicely padded, and I expect them to protect my steel pan drums for a long time.After getting one to try, I ordered two more for my three cello steel pan drums. My old semi-soft bags were falling apart and I wanted something a bit more rigid to make loading and unloading easier. I also wanted bags that would provide better protection and hold up better than my old ones. I was looking for something that would provide all this without the high cost of hard cases. These bags check all the boxes.The 20" x 14" bag is actually a bit over 23" dia x 17" deep, which is perfect for my cello pans. The case has about an inch of padding all around and a nice soft lining that will prevent damage and protect the finish on my pans.

Tough Denier nylon exterior, plush interior.This case has a separate pocket for a spare head. Worth buying these to keep your drums protected!
