I used these screws to install all my rack mounted FX processors, rack mounted power amps and guitar processors. Highly recommended for all types of electronics that are rack mounted.

Whatever metal these are made out of is so soft that one slip of the screwdriver in my hand almost completely rounds off the head. I almost had to drill a screw out to recover it, but luckily I was able to put enough force down to just barely get it out.There's no pilot tip at the end of the screws, which I didn't think would make a big difference, but having to start right on the threads makes self-installation of heavy gear almost impossible.The thin clear washer behind the thick black washer is so flimsy that I had 3 tear and get mangled up during one installation.

It's a bag of screws! Nice paint job, the included screw cup and the plastic washer protects the equipments face plate.I wanted all the screw heads in my audio racks to match. Geek On!!!

I like these rack screws best because the included plastic cup washers do a great job of protecting the screw head from damage if a roadie srapes a cabinet along a brick wall, for instance. I've had that happen, making it nearly impossible to remove the screw!

Best rack screws I've ever used. High quality materials and well cut threads, great washers, makes mounting heavy rack equipment much easier without risk of crossed threads. Not the cheapest, but worth it.
