It took to long to show up. The holes didn’t fit but I got it to go. Once I got it on it worked great.

The original one quit retracting and installed this one and done. Easy peesy. Come assembled and 3 screws works perfectly. Even when my motors being a cold blooded heartless p.o.s. I've been using for about 8 months no issues. Good deal.

Recieved next day. Installed easy and did not have to modify at all. Only used a couple times but seems ok. This is for recoil starters that have metal locating dowels through the cover so nuts cant be over tightened. The vertical push mower motors i believe have smaller mounting holes and are usualy red in colour.

I waited too long to test this item on my wood splitter to be able to return it! The orientation of the three bolt holes are 60 degrees off so if installed it will require start-pulling into the splitter body (vs away). Can you say 'raw knuckles?"Additionally, the three bolt receptacle holes are too small to sit down all the way over the bolt to have the assembly seat at the proper depth. (sorry no photo for you)Not impressed. The info states it fits my Honda GCV 160. Wrong.

This is a perfect fit for my Honda, the only thing that I found was this was not the same length of starter rope as my previous one. My old one, the rope came 1/2 way up the handle bar, the new one does not have enough rope length to do the same. It was about 30-36" to short, but other than that it does do what it was designed for.........start the mower. Thus the 4 stars rather than 5, 5 stars for a perfect fit though!!
