My oven became wonky- too hot at 350° and like 200° setting at 350. So studying possible problems we bought this thermostat. After removing the old and installing the new my baking temperature is correct!Easy fix!

My OEM part was obsolete so I had to search until I found one that was supposed to replace mine. Well, it works perfectly.The only thing different was that I had to rotate it 90 degrees to get the knob to line up with the correct temperature and off position.Glad I was able to reuse this "used-like new" purchase!

These are very difficult to install, you practically need to take apart the whole oven! It's a very small part but super expensive. I suspect GE just wants us to buy a new oven instead of repairing the old one. Disappointed.

Installing this replacement piece went mostly smooth for this rank amateur. Tested the temp after, what it said on the dial is what was read in the oven.

If you need this part to fix your oven this is the one to get, don't go aftermarket. This fit perfect and was cheap, temp was spot on after installing.

My old thermostat broke, so I ordered this one to replace it. The replacement process was easy, except for the part where you have to navigate the sensor through the back of the oven, but I tied a piece of string to the old one when I was pulling it out and then used it to get the new sensor in. Took me like 30 minutes total.Everything works perfectly now.
