It worked fine a first but lasted less than a year. After not using it for a while in the winter, I went to charge it up and it wouldn't power up and wouldn't take a charge. I'd had one of their other cheaper models before and its mounting bracket broke after a few months and they advised they don't sell parts, so I'd have to buy a whole new one. Overall their products seem to be poorly made.

For the price this is incredible. Hooks up very easily, and was super simple to put together on the helmet. The buttons on the device are responsive and work well. At higher speeds [70-80] it can be hard to hear but for cruising it's perfect

People say they can't hear on theirs, well you got cheap ones. I can go 85 miles an hour and I still can't turn it up all the way, it's so loud! This Bluetooth is crazy sick!

I liked the headset, although the first one was a bit quiet. And even with the quiet one, the speakers blew out. I figured, okay, I was playing music too loudly. So, I returned that one (because it happened within 30 days of purchase, by the way) and got a replacement headset. That was three months ago. The new headset was a bit louder than the first which was a pleasant surprise, and I began turning the audio down to prevent the speakers from blowing out again. Well, guess it didn't matter. Two days ago, the speakers blew yet again. This is genuinely ridiculous. Bought new speakers for it one last time, only because I have two of their headsets and don't want it to be a complete waste of money. If it blows out again, I'm saying screw it and just saving for a cardio. Seriously upset that I spent so much money on this and they can't even have long-lasting speakers. I even recommended it to a friend. Never doing that again.

I have used this for about a month now. It made my motorcycle riding experience so much better. The Sound is very good ( I am a music person) and the phone call quality is great. I spoke with someone for 8 minutes riding about 65 mph and they had no idea I was on a motorcycle. Instructions are clear, and controls are easy. I listen to music, use my Waze Ap and can make and receive phone calls. So everyone can make a fair comparison, I use a full face helmet (Bell) and ride a Ninja with stock exhaust. I have an Iphone13. I can hear music clear at 80 MPH. I have been in bad rainstorms and this unit held up. You can spend a lot more, but I don't think you will get more than an incremental improvement. This unit is a very good value. Sometimes you buy an item that makes you feel like it was a great value. This is definitely one of those.

This product works as advertised but not as loud as I expected for this to be inside a helmet.

The GEARELEC speaker is designed to be used in conjunction with a motorcycle helmet. While you are wearing your helmet, you are able to make and receive calls as well as listen to music. Using this device you are able to appreciate some of the comforts and benefits of using your phone, even while wearing a helmet.Everything you need to use this with your existing helmet is included in the box. You have a set of headphones for stereo sound and a separate microphone to ensure your voice is picked up properly. They have even included a USB cable for charging purposes. There are 2 options in terms of mounting the device to your helmet; you can use a clip mount or an adhesive and the mounts are included as well. One of the key features is the noise cancelling support which helps to hear the audio under noisy conditions, which becomes more and more important while driving on urban roads and travelling at higher speeds.Another neat feature is that the speaker can work as a two-way intercom over Bluetooth between 2-6 others who have the device as well. They have even included a way to share music over the intercom! One of the first things you will want to do after unboxing and turning it on is to pair with your smartphone. It is very easy to pair and there is full support for iOS and Android connectivity. They have included a full detailed instruction manual to guide you through the setup process and use. There are a number of physical buttons located on the device including the power button, + and - buttons (for volume control, etc), an intercom button and a multi-function button. The power button must be held down for a few seconds for it to take effect. The multi-function button lets you access the various music modes as well as other functionality.A perk of this device is that it has a nice looking RGB light feature which can switch between 7 different modes. There is a screen which shows you the current battery status, as well as the pairing mode. The display can also show you the current FM radio station if you are listening to the radio. This device includes an internal rechargeable battery which uses a USB-C cable in order to charge it up. You can use fast charging as long as your charger supports it, in order to recharge the battery quickly. The port is protected with a rubber cover so you can prevent dirt and liquid from getting in while not charging it.An important thing is the IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, giving you confidence that you can use this device even if it is raining or snowing or in various road conditions. This headset comes with everything you need and supports many useful features.

I use this for lawn work and working in the garage or what ever. I can drill, cut grass, weed eat and talk to ppl or just listen to music. I am very impressed with the noise canceling effects. When on the riding mower ppl did not eve know I was mowing the grass, my voice was just a but low. So very impressed.I stuck the speakers to a set of ear muffs and used double sided tape to attach the mic to the ear muffs. Not idea but works for now. Trying to find out what type of velcro it is on the headset.

This motorcycle headset works as it should. It was very easy to set up Bluetooth with my Apple phone. The chasing colour light on the face is so great and gets a lot of attention. The buttons on the flat part are not raised a lot so with gloves, it is hard to make adjustments for pausing and answering calls. Overall, this is a great little unit.

The GEARELEC Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset is a fantastic choice for group rides. The sound quality is impressive, with the 3EQ HiFi Stereo offering clear, balanced audio whether you’re listening to music or communicating with up to 10 riders over a 2000M range. The noise reduction works well, even at high speeds, so conversations stay clear. Music sharing is a fun feature, and the V5.2 Bluetooth connection is stable. I’m giving it 4.5 stars because the initial setup was a bit more complicated than expected, but once it’s all set, it works seamlessly. Overall, a reliable and high-quality helmet communication system.

The gx10 works great. Took a 4 hour ride today (first time using the gx10). Sounds was great and loud. I could still hear the bike(Harley) but it didn't overpower the music from the speakers. I had the volume up at about 85%. My helmet is a ls2 advant x modular which gets alot of wind noise. Sounds was clean but of course i could still hear the wind noise. The install was easy. I checked the mic with a phone call before hitting the road, it was good. During the ride tho I lost mic capabilities( I need to look and see if it came apart which would be my own installation error. Overall I'm extremely happy with it and plan to buy a 2nd one for my passenger helmet.
