Local hardware store doesn't even stock replacement handles anymore. Nice handle for the price.

Upper end is oval and not large enough to be fit correctly on my Plumb claw hammer head. I do have another small head that I can use it for, just not the one I ordered it for. It is also a pretty light weight. Probably ash, I would prefer hickory.

Well ordered 10 1/2" engineers handle for a ball peen head I have. It showed up as 15". So I guess to save the head from the dump I will re-shape the handle to make it fit. Harborfreight has set of 5 for $22.

I ordered two and both broke while trying to seat the head on them. You get what you pay for I guess. I will go with hickory next time.

Used this to replace my hammer handle I use daily at work and it's not great. The handle split on the bottom just from fitting the handle. Also the wood is super light idk what it is but def not hickory. It's a good cheap replacement but it is cheap. Just know that.
