After having hired a Plumber to install the 2 filters the top of the filters started to leak - I contacted my Plumber he said it is the actual filters leaking - at where the brass fitting is pressed into the plastic top of the filter canisters.I did ask the the company to replace the tops they did they sent out 2 new tops however they sent the tops in a mail plastic bag sleeve well when Amazon Dropped them off the inside of the filters were broken and chiped. After spending money on the 2 filters, 2 the filter cartridges and then paying a Plumber to install these filters I am now trying to get my money back.I am going to be buying another product from a different company.I am Very disappointed and frustrated with both the quality and shippping department and customer service from both Amazon and the manufacturer. And it's been days since me and my family of 4 have the use of water because of this filter issue.A Very Disappointed Customer. !

The only thing it lacked was a drainage system at the bottom. Maybe some models have it and I missed it. I’ll install my own. The filter seating could be a little more definitive.

These are the Best filter housings I have used. I had a GE and another brand, but htey were difficult to change filters with. These GeekPure housings are very easy to make filter changes with. I highly recommend these. I use six of them between my two houses with my well system.

Several others have left similar comments and I should have listened. The female inlet/outlet threads are very loose and will not seal with the use of teflon tape alone. I also attempted to seal with liquid pipe sealant and this did not even come close to sealing the threads. Unfortunately, I had to store these for a while so I can't return them now and there is no way I can find to contact the seller. I would look elsewhere for a product that doesn't have this problem. You've been warned.

One of the housings installed ok. The other I had to try several times to get the brass insert rings to seal.

I have a very tough water situation, where I have to purify pond water for drinking, using a pair of these filters to clean the dirt out of the water before treatment saves chemical usage. Had them about a month, working OK.

Was unable to seal the threads using PVC piping and connectors. Have had no problems with Pentek or Culligan brand threaded inlet/outlet ports leaking.
