It’s holding the mic to the stand, but the part that screws onto the bottom of the mic doesn’t do so securely.

It wasn't damaged in shipping, the threads on the plastic parts were already destroyed from the factory so it wouldn't hold together. Unusable

clip is good and easy to use, but it has all plastic construction so the thread started to spinning after a couple of weeks of use. so had to return it. At least the thread has to be metal.
