Pros: It looks great, and is easy and quick to set up.Cons: Stains easily. I put some berries on one of them (as one does with charcuterie) and now the board is permanently stained. No amount of soap and water will get it off. Also, the legs aren't very sturdy. If someone accidentally bumps it with their arm, it's liable to collapse.

I’m very disappointed in these trays. I bought them to entertain this weekend, and I will be unable to use them. The legs on them are uneven, making them useless.

This item was so easy to set up. All come nicely packaged and super cute once set up. Used for my Easter set up and it came out so beautiful.

Absolutely love these little trays - we got to use them for Thanksgiving & Christmas and I can already tell they're going to be standard in our repertoire for all holiday gatherings! Very sturdy so no concerns over spills, and I love the tiered look to be able to show off all the goodies at once!

I am rating 5 stars but could lean towards 4. The wood does not have a finish, so I will oil it. You could use mineral oil or wax or grapeseed oil or walnut oil, if you desire to protect the wood and have it last longer. That said the wood is really beautiful. The grain is striking. The design is really more about lifting what is in the rear of a buffet or display instead of saving counter space. It does nothing to consolidate counter space because the space in between the levels does not allow stacking, nor does the width. These trays are all the same size and the only difference is the height of the legs. So they work for raising what is behind, which if food can help from sleeves catching on top of food in a simple buffet setup. Or they can work for a bookshelf art item, or desk organizing. They certainly would work well for a craft fair display. With the caveat of needing to finish them and no consolidation of counter space, I recommend these beautiful trays. I will likely separate them and use one in the kitchen and the others in the office bookshelfs. For a buffet I need a different type that consolidates space.

These shelves are a lot bigger than I thought, which was a nice surprise. They are well constructed and the lip around the edges is very nice. They are designed to sit in a tier, but there is one small issue on the highest tier, but it is by no means a dealbreaker. In order for the legs to fold flush under the board, one pair of legs is narrower than the other. When placing the middle tier up against the tall tier, my tendency is to push it until it hits the legs of the tall tier. However because of the different size legs, it pushes in at an angle. Easily made to look nice by just moving one side forward a bit, but be careful not to bump it underneath the tall shelf. I think that putting little rubber/silicone adhesive dots on the legs (like on cabinet drawers) would help prevent movent of the shelves, I just haven't done it yet. Other than that, these are attractive shelves and will get used a lot when entertaining. No law saying you have to use them in a tier configuration either, they work great individually on the countertop for storage, or when flattened are nice stand alone serving boards. Great size for sushi rolls! Nice product, easy to store.
