Sturdy enough - with proper care I should be able to make several of these. Yes, I'll be using a mold release, and if necessary a misting of 99% isopropyl alcohol (if it needs it) to demold easily.

These make for beautiful molds but can be difficult to remove once it's in. A little bit of water goes a long way for removing it. They are great because they are easy enough to pour into and they stand up and stiff, which is great. They feel like they would be flexible and easier to remove but they are a bit of a pain to get off and not damage the soaps.

Made a green resin rock for a kryptonite prop. These work great. Hard to remove but I found soapy water helps and is a must, get it into the walls inside and squish around and you should be able to pop out the dried gem easier.

Some of the shapes required some force to pop them out but they still made awesome rock soaps. I have nine and want to get about 12 more so I can make several at a time. 👍🏻

These silicone molds are great for making large resin stones, candles, or other crafting projects. The molds are durable and provide beautiful, intricate results. Ideal for DIY enthusiasts looking to create jewelry, decor, or aromatherapy items.

I used these molds to make some candles for my two nieces and they love them. I think it would work really well for a resin project and especially for soap so I might try them for some home-made soaps for gifting at Christmastime. Adding in a little water when removing to help lubricate the candles helped to get them to slip out. Without a little water, the grip of this mold is pretty strong.

I do a lot of epoxy resin pouring in my woodshop. Mostly binding to different types of wood. Burls in particular. I do cutting boards, orbs, rings, earrings, pens, etc. I saw these and thought they could make some cool decorative pieces. I have the pressure pot to degas the resin, so you can get crystal clear resin pours out of it. One thing to note is that the opening at the top is very small and getting them out is pretty difficult, but it can be done. I recommend not filling them all the way up to the top to make it a little bit easier. It will take a little away from the crystal's size and shape, but it will give you something to grab onto to peel it back off of the piece.

These are good molds, but they're pretty hard to remove your things from. I tried to use these for candles and I had mixed results. Trying to remove the candles meant breaking the corners. They might be better for resin projects.
