What are Rough Gems?
Rough gems are uncut, unpolished gemstones that are mined from the earth. These gemstones have no set shape or grade they rough and they always come in different shapes and sizes. Some of these gemstones are color treated to enhance them however that does not affect the actual quality of the gemstone. This is a dyed stone and not a natural ruby. Dye comes off in water.

Absolutely love this raw Ruby. There isn’t anything I don’t love about it. It’s color is great, the weight is great. I should have ordered two as I gave the other as an uncut, raw Ruby rock as a gift

There are some nice good sized pieces at this seller, I guess the question is “what will I do with it”, but I’m looking for the right cutting tools and whatever kind of tools you’d use to set them.

This little gem arrived super fast, only 15 days for international order to arrive!! The size is as expected and will work nicely. I only gave 4 stars as the color is not quite as described. Perhaps when it is finished and polished it will be. I will update at that time. Overall, I think the price is right and the value in size is worth it! I have since ordered a sapphire.
