Perfect fit. This is NOT easy to get at but it can be done without removing the intake which is what GM recommends. It is under the sending unit at the very back of the block on top/so replace the sending unit too. Mine was 80% clogged and my oil pressure was indicating just 10 psi...now I am 25 at idle and 50/55 at anything over 1200 rpm. 170k miles...

This is a high quality GM filter. After getting to the oil pressure sending unit and removing it, I used a 5/16” x 3” hex bolt to remove the old filter. I inserted the new filter and a new sending unit. It worked like a charm. Great product.
