Exact replacement for my 89 IROC. There is an aftermarket made by Doorm@n that is of poor quality. GM costs more but is dead accurate.

I purchased the item back in July 25. Its replacement window closed August 25. I flew out of town for a week last month and upon my return I found the "set button" on the end of the blinker arm had launched onto my floormat.Something broke inside the little button while sitting in my driveway doing nothing. Didn't hit hit, bump it, or anything ... maybe the hot California climate caused a stressed part to fail.Maybe the vender can help out with a fix or replacement.At this time, not recommended to buy!

Looks like a genuine GM part. Came in a box that had a GM label with GM holograph, a bar code and QR code. Label indicates it was made in China. The original part on my 1989 Chevy S10 was assembled in Mexico. Fit fine and works so far. Be aware if you cannot get the wire to pull through the steering column you may have to disassembly the top portion. The cruise control connector got stuck inside the column on mine and I had to remove components down to and including the ignition switch and tilt lever housing. It is a pain and there are lots of small parts. If you need to disassemble the column you will want a steering wheel remover and a steering wheel lock plate compressor tool to make the task easier.

This switch was the ticket. The local parts stores part is junk, felt cheap and had to be warrantied twice. Received this part and right away knew it was better. It feels solid and works great. No issues. Thanks for a great part.
