It has a thing to calibrate in the lid and assuming this is good it seems to be quite effective. I used it to test firewood. Happy enough.

The product works, but the previous pinned unit I owned had a green, yellow and red led that kit up based on the amount of moisture. I didn't realize this did not have that. I am an insurance adjuster and I have to take photos of the moisture meter, and this one only audibly alerts you to the fact that there is moisture, so it isn't a great choice for me.

I love that it beeps and the lights are nice and bright for more mature adults whose eyes tend to do what they want... Lol.. I really like this meter and it's seems to be on point with those that have the more expensive meters..... Great buy!!

The bluetooth works great. We used it on a small job so didn't really use the bluetooth to save data, but will on upcoming jobs.

Flimsy, which I can usually live with. But battery door broke first time out. Because of design, contact springs want to shoot battery out of broken door which resists any kind of field repair- a trusty piece of duct tape won't do it. Worse, reading jumps around like a slot machine even while stuck in the wood, never mind consistent readings across the same area of a piece of dry subfloor. Finally, was not be able to get a reading of any kind, good bad or indifferent, from white oak flooring I'm getting ready to install. Does not bode well for the future. Will be returning

Seems to work! Came with an extra set of probes as well. Only annoyance is the cover should only go on one way, as it's a real PIA to take off if you accidentally put it on reverse (like find a flathead screwdriver at your woodpile annoying)
