I purchased this product and it did not meet my expectations. The only thing good I can say about the product is the fabric quality is good. When it comes to assembly the 2 main poles are extremely difficult to feed into the pockets. It was an actual struggle. This is the main reason why I returned it. I wanted something I can set up and disassemble quickly. This is not the case. If you plan one putting it together and leaving it up and not wanting to take it apart this would be okay. I also didn't like the top "roof system". The biggest reason I returned it was because it is priced way to high.

Let me first say I am an avid camper both RV and tent and have been camping both ways for almost 50 years. The Good:Once it is put together and the tie down stakes are replaced it works very well. The Bad:The construction was not tested well nor do the know how to make a tent. The seems a folded over at the end and middle and make it near impossible to get the tent poles through. The channels for the poles are to tight. I have great grip and arm strength and could barely get these through. The plastic stakes they send for tie down are a joke and you should replace them right away.Overall:Once it its together you can avoid removing the two long poles and ti will fold back into the bag. This will make it functional. It will still take time to setup due to the difficulty of putting the cross poles in. Hoping this will relax a little over time. The stakes need to be replaced but that is a minor cost (for the price I would have thought they would include a steel nail or light weight aluminum type stake not plastic)After it is setup it works well it kept it out of the rain and snow we encountered and the winds didn't move it. I was skeptical about the exhaust and heat damaging it, but it fit and worked great over my Predator 3500.

Dangerous!!!!After less than two hours running my genny running underneath this tent, it was untouchable. I mean, really, really, really hot. Third-degree-burn hot. The gas cap was at least 250 degrees Fahrenheit. At least.Had I not gone out to check the fuel level when I did, the generator most certainly would have been permanently damaged or exploded. No joke — this cover made the entire top including the gas cap as hot as a burner on a stove.Once I removed the tent, the generator took half an hour to be cool enough to touch.I believe that this product could cause permanent, irreparable engine damage, or more likely an explosion.I got lucky. Don’t take the chance I did.

I purchase this as a temporary solution until the spring when I could have the time and the weather to build a generator shed. This was designed as one the few covers for an inverter generator. The assembly was a easy for me but instructions are not very clear with really no diagrams on how to assemble it. So I had to manage to figure it out by looking at the pictures on Amazon. I have 2 inverter generators one wen 3800 watt and 5000 watt predator this fit both of them first try the tent onPredator after 3 minutes it shut down from carbon monoxide safety switch. After that I tried the Wen which doesn't have a monoxide safety system it ran for 10 mins I checked the tent and it was hot picked it up and there was a black spot where the exhaust is there is no cut out for the exhaust no ventilation Amazon should pull this immediately before someone gets hurt I returned it the same day I got it.Didnt even hesitate on returning it.This is not a safe product and could damage your generator the manufacturer should have a flap opposite side of the window. There are flaps on every side except where the exhaust is which can catch fire.

Setup time 13 minutes, takedown time 9 minutes.Like: light weight; easy, compact storage. Ran my gen set for an hour as a test and it was ok. 2) they include an extra one of the long rods - for a total of 3.Dislike: 1) Champion dual fuel 4500 has the pull cord and the propane port on the opposite side from this product's access door. 2) The long fiberglass rods are folded in a "U" shape - under tension - for storage in the storage pouch. I don't feel it will be safe for children to be pulling the long rods out of that pouch or to put back into the pouch. A simple mistake could take your eye, or, potentially your life as a rod springs out. 3) The long rods are "fiddly" -it takes too much effort to get them routed through the sleeve from one end to the other. Also, they get stuck at the sleeve-end on the sewn sleeve end. This review is for the smaller of the two models this vendor is currently selling.
