This transfer switch was specifically made for my Cutler Hammer breaker box. The included parts aligned perfectly for what I needed, and provided a safe way to switch from grid to generator power and back. If you are planning to not have an automatic transfer switch and have a portable generator, an interlock kit like this is essential to ensure you don't cause any electrical issues while transferring power from one source to another.
