Installation was simple enough, but the lock fits sloppy. It's was inexpensive, and does the job.

My main panel is 46 years old. I didn’t think that there was an interlock for my panel. I always had to make sure I turned off the main before turning on my generator. This kit was easy to install it works and it insures I don’t forget to turn off the main first. It’s well made and reasonably priced. It fit my power panel without issue. It just makes it a safer generator hook-up.

I just needed to have this to be up to code. You can spend 3x more if you want the smoothest operation but in my case I need to slide this once a year at most do be realistic with your self. It works but maybe it doesn't click like a Bentley door.
