Was leery of going this route, After Install the labeling was easy to do. Follow instructions and it is an easy functioning way to switch over from Provided electricity to Generator Back-up supplied electricity. There are other different way's to switch but for the security of knowing when power is out, I'll have power to run my house.

Overall it works but the instructions need some work. They should knock the sharp edges of all the flat metal as some are quite sharp.

It says for a Siemens panel but not with out some work. The Siemens panel has a ridge down the middle of the panel preventing this to fit flat against the panel. Also the nuts on back of bolts are against the main breaker pushing out the center panel. I filed a groove to make it fit over the ridge in the panel but couldn't do anything about the nuts pushing panel out vs flush. . It does what it says it does and you can lock out the main panel when there is a need to use generator.
