Fit my Generac whole house generator which shut down after throwing a Low Oil pressure warning. The overall shape and orientation of the screw posts were a match. Came with spare ring terminals however my model Generac already had the ring terminals, so it was an easy install. Tips, oil will flow from the crankcase when the old switch is removed so be prepared to work fast. Secondly, pay attention to how many threads are exposed before you remove your old switch to give you an idea of depth for the new. Mine only required 1/3 of the threads and it was snug. You definitely don't want to overtighten thinking you need to screw it the entire length of the thread. You could snap it or strip it. Last, did not come with Teflon tape wrap on the threads so you need to provide the tape or some kind of pipe thread sealant.

Our Honeywell generator stopped with a low pressure indicator on the control panel. Honeywell generators have Generac engines. I replaced the oil pressure switch which is easily located on the panel side of the generator. I tried to find one with push on connectors. The one I got had lugs that require a screw. I cut the existing connectors off the wires, stripped the wires a little, then crimped on the connectors supplied with the part. Then reassembled screwing the new lugs onto the installed switch. The generator now works fine. Would have been nice to find a switch not requiring this fix- but it wasn’t that difficult.

…for my 16kwh Generac generator! If you have the spade quick connection on the valve you are replacing you will have to clip those off and use the connectors they supply with their valve. Make sure you use some type of tread filler as this does not have any.
