Great and easy to install. Use inside or outside. If installed outside make a gap filler (arrow) or bee's and bugs will get in. Dedicated for my Mini split in master bedroom.

Like that I can quickly hook up smaller generator and have heat within 5 min, and just turn 1 switch 👍

I should have listened and saved my money. It was about 20 bucks less expensive than the legitimate version. Needless to say, I did not save 20 bucks, I wasted 50. It was easy to wire, just a waste of time to do so. I was running a gable fan rated at under 7 amp draw and an LED light. It worked for maybe 10 minutes before the switch in it died. Save your money and spend it wisely on a far better product.

I have not used this device yet but it is as advertised. The switch seems solid and it is easy enough to install. Standard square box. It would be nice to have a cover for the generator plug port. I will use an old extension cord female end to protect it when not in use.

I use this instead of the other brand green one. It comes with a box already installed and long wires are identified easy for installation. I use them on my heat pumps during power failure and they work flawlessly. I plug extension cord in to my battery backup. At the flick of the switch you are connected to it

The connection on the fuse block were loose and I had to crimp the connections also a wire on the selector switch came off when I did the install. The wires on the male plug were not tight. If you buy this product check all the wire connections.

This manual transfer switch is like the more expensive one you may have seen that looks like this one. It has the wires (marked) that go into the main breaker box. This "sub electrical panel" does not have a short length of electrical conduit which you may have to buy - for space between the breaker box cover flange and the switch cover flange. This transfer switch is an INSIDE the house transfer switch box, used for a solar generator, which can stay inside the house. You will want an outside plug for a gas generator - which means a different model of transfer switch would be a better choice. I gave the transfer switch 5 stars since it does what it is supposed to do.
