This fits third gen tacoma.. I placed it on a 2018 Tacoma TRD V6 , Measurement of inner tube the same as stock plastic housing inner tube. Great upgrade!

Purchased this kit for the aluminum housing cap. Using the proper filter housing wrench, I broke the old plastic one while removing it. Seems the dealer had the incredible hulk over-tighten it on its last service. This aluminum housing looks great and will hold up better to the temperature cycles than the plastic one. It comes off as it should when properly torqued. The filter media has sufficient plies/surface area for efficient filtration. More than worth the cost.

I bought this to replace my plastic one on my 23 Toyota Tacoma. I haven't put it on yet, I am the next oil change it looks well made better than the plastic one yes I would recommend this and you can't beat the price

Toyota was trying to be environmentally conscientious by making this style filter/filter housing cap. Good for the environment, bad for the DIY consumer, especially when the housing is made from a plastic polymer. This one is made from aluminum and appears to be more sturdy than the factory one.

I would definitely recommend this filter and seller. Yes, there were missing parts but the seller made everything right. I was replacing a OEM composite filter housing on a 2016 Camry that had cracked. Everything fit perfectly and no leaks! The kit with the help of the seller included the right housing, cap, filter, and wrench to easily replace my broken one. Again, I want to give a big thank you to the seller for helping make this kit available and getting back to me with the right parts.

Now the steelership free oil change period is over, I’m back to DYI. Knowing issues that have arised from the plastic housing, I decided to change over to the aluminum housing. This kit has everything you need at the best price with quality OEM parts!First DYI oil change after years of service from Toyota required the use of a 18” breaker bar to remove housing (WTF!). The tool in this kit worked well.
