I needed this for an upgrade to my infotainment system and HVAC controls on a 2014 Ram 2500. I was a little worried about the lead time when I purchased it, but it was exactly what I needed and for whatever reason, they were out of nationwide stock with Ram/Mopar. Needless to say, I'm glad they came through with this little piece of unobtanium.

This did not work for my 2016 Ram 1500. Tried to save some $ and buy this $60 module but it wasn’t compatible. I was able to control my A/C and heat/ fan with it. And the heat worked, however my A/C didn’t activate, and when I hit max A/C it would blow hard for 3 seconds then completely shut off. I think this is for 2013 Ram models. So be wary, glad Amazon has a good return policy.
