Part does not fit my car. Not sellers fault, found glitch with amazon “my garage”.Which displayed that it fit.

My 2012 showed a P0448 code that I diagnosed as gravel dust in the vent solenoid along with a faulty EVAP canister filter. The service manual states to block off one hose port and blow into the second port to be sure of no leakage on the canister. There is going to be leakage due to two drain holes on the side of the canister. I purchased this part thinking my old canister was defective and that maybe some sort of internal filter / check valve had gone bad allowing air to exit out the two holes on the side. I believe now it was ok due to the fact that the new canister behaves the same way by not being air tight. As far as a filter my old canister had absolutely no filter media in it after I cut it open. I'm not sure if the new parts have a dust filter inside or not, so if you live on gravel you might want to add a extra filter to keep dust out of your EVAP canister, or do the TSB pertaining to plugged up EVAP parts.
