2008 Kia Sorento rear hatch door did not open when doors are unlocked, this replacement part solved the issue.

I removed the old faulty one rear trunk lock actuator and replaced with this new OEM Actuator. This actuator worked perfectly and easy to install on my 2008 Kia Sorento. Glad to have my power lock working again! Seller shipped the part very fast and arrived at the house within a few days.

Thank you for having this item. I searched a while back in 2020 at the start of my lock sticking. Could not find this product anywhere except 1 over priced used one on eBay. I skipped it because it same milage as mine did. I knew it would fail if it even worked correctly still. I put new gas hydraulics on my hatch window and would just use it when the hatch wouldn't unlock. I mean with almost 200 thousand miles at 14 yrs old. Things are going to need replacing. I would much rather do that then come up with 10 grand to buy a gently used vehicle. They're just so over priced. I mean I paid 520p for my sorento ex and it had 1 owner all maintenance done at the dealership 124, 000 miles. 7 yrs ago. Should be able to get a nice car for 5 grand and you can't anymore. So keeping mine until it blows up. Wont be nothing left once I'm done! Lol this locking mechanism fit like a glove and works flawless. Good aftermarket product!! And not over priced. Priced just right.
