we build cars and use we 4l60 transmissions. not all we find are 2 wheel drive and we convert them to 2 wheel drive. this part makes it easy and seeing that it's a critical part, it makes it quick and seamless fix and we have a new part vs trying to find a used piece.

The only problem as mentioned before is the speed sensor hole isn't tapped. But a 6mm tap will cure that. I buy a lot of these housings for my cable speedometer drive conversions that I sell.

Part was exactly what I needed. No extra steps and was simple to put on. Note the thread for the speed sensor had to be made so suggest making that before you install to transmission. Overall good stuff.

Installed on a 2007 Silverado with the original 4L60E with 287,000 miles. Had a worn slip yoke which in turn wore out the rear case bushing. replaced the slip yoke and this was an easy way to replace the bushing and seal with much less work. removed 6 15mm bolts took the old one off and installed this one, no leaks, no fitment issues, worked great.
