About this item

  • Boots built to work no matter what weather
  • All purpose heavy duty perfomance
  • All day comfort

These Georgia Eagle Light work boots blend safety, durability and strength with comfort features and a secure fit.

The steel toe rests in a wide-load toe box, so not only does this safety toe footwear resist up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression (ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification), but it also provides enough room for your toes to remain comfortable. To offer you even more protection, Georgia Boot assembled these work boots without nails, so these boots are also in compliance with the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard.

The boots are very well made. Shoe laces tie well and eye lid loops are solid for tight tying. But the insoles are terrible. The insoles are not soft but made of plastic, have no cushioning, and make you feel like your wearing plastic inserts on high heel shoes. After a few hours my heel really began to hurt. Georgia Boot really needs to make softer insoles for comfort. The bottom of the boot is very rough. Heavy Duty Dr. Schools do not do the trick. I went and bought a 30 dollar boot insoles and it made the heel not hurt. But my toes kept getting hurt from the frame of the boot. There was no support still and I had to return it. So again, I liked the boot but Georgia NEEDS to make these boots i soles softer with better cushioning. And they will have an AWESOME boot.

Ok to be perfectly honest!!!! I have been in boots of some kind about all my life... they are truly the BEST and most comfortable that I have ever had on my feet! I'm talking about Redwing, Danner, Wolverine, Ariat and even Timberland. I don't think I will ever get a different kind now!

Took them out of the box and straight to the woods for firewood cutting. Comfortable and the size fit me like normal.

Don't have the same insoles as the last pair. I had a lot cheaper insoles. I payed $180 for the boots . Over payed by $100

Superior shipping time. They put a rush on I and received a day early. Boots are extremely comfortable and light. The sizing is true to sizing. If you wear a 10 shoe, buy a 10 boot. Georgia boots are truly one of the higher quality work boots you can get for the money.

I work on concrete floors all day. Most of what I do consists of walking inside a warehouse and occasionally outside lumber yards. I find these boots durable and comfortable to walk in. I do recommend a set of gel insoles to maximize comfort. Like any good work boot I was able to break in the shoes within a few days. They clean up easily and were just the right size, which is great because I have obnoxiously large feet. Beats having to wear tennis shoes any day of the year.

I'm glad I got the double wide. Very comfortable. Better than the Red Wings I was wearing.

Georgia boots are the most comfortable boot that I've worn. I went through a couple pairs of Georgia G8040 that lasted almost two years each. I highly recommend them.I decided to try a lighter boot and went with the Eagle light. A comfortable boot without any break-in period, similar to the G8040.Unfortunately the tread on the bottom didn't hold up and ended up with wet socks not even four months later. It is a light boot which I like, but the durability isn't there. I payed good money for the Eagle light and will be looking for something different this time around. If you wear boots for work for forty plus hours a week like myself, I would not recommend this particular Georgia boot.
