I wouldn't say these are surgical instruments, but they are very solid. The teeth inserts are great. holding power is great. I carry them every shift for general uses.

This gets five stars for non-surgical uses. I needed needle nose pliers that lock and that purpose the work well. The actual locking pliers I found were not long enough, too bulky, too heavy, or were more than I wanted to pay. Iām sure the suck potential is high for these as actual surgical instruments.
