This fireplace is compact but has such a rustic look. Perfect for my space. It’s easy to move around on your deck if required. I would recommend it

We've put it together, tried to light it, taken it apart, reassembled, tried to light it, taken it apart, tried to light it with the tank outside (twisted hose maybe? Nope!), put on a new tank, tried to light it. The ignition switch is working; you can hear the click. And for a hot second we could smell the propane. We've even tried using a hand lighter, and that doesn't work either. It seems as tho there is no propane getting from the tank up to the circle of fire.I've emailed the seller and have yet to hear back. I would be more than happy to change my review once we get it lit. But we can't even return it now bcz we've had it for 8 months in the box. So frustrating because it's an attractive fire pit. And outdoor patio time is upon us!Does anyone have any suggestions? We've gone through the troubleshooting in the back of the manual, and nothing worked. I do NOT want to designate this as an expensive flower stand!!!UPDATE: I had messaged the seller and they were VERY responsive, even with our pit being out of warranty. Lots of communications back and forth, but we wound up figuring it out after a call to the local fireplace/firepit shop.Here is what the instructions don't tell you. When turning it on, you push in and turn the dial counterclockwise until you are lined up at about the 9:00 spot. Then you push in the IGNITE button as you turn the dial past the 9:00 past, still moving counterclockwise.It looks great. I may edit some more after I turn it on and sit in front of it some evening soon.

Received this product last week.No assembly required, just attach a propane tank.Could not get it to light!Followed instructions, spent an hour trying to light, nothing.Contacted seller, they sent me a list of things to check, nothing.Now I have pack it back up, lug it to a UPS store to ship back.I'm 72 years old having to deal with this 90 lb.headache.What a waste!!
