Have to lug a ton of hardware never made easier to deal with. I get to have a set my drums exactly the way I like it with all the amazing feature that make my job as a drum completely equip. Easy to set up and life is good. I highly recommend the rack to those who really desire to have fun and be creative with their investment. I always wanted a rack, not because of it cool looks but for the utility of having the ability to design my sound according to the style of play and delivery I can give to my band. The best investment ever.

FIRST, NO INSTRUCTIONS, NOT TO BIG OF A DEAL BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFULL. SECOND, TWO OF THE PLASTIC END CAPS ON DIFFERENT PIECES WERE BROKEN, AND THERE IS A DENT ON THE MAIN CROSS TUBE. NOTHING THAT AFECTS THE PLAYABILITY, BUT FOR $500 AND BEING BRAN NEW IT'S DISAPOINTING. I FOUND THAT IF YOU TAKE THE LARGE RUBBER ENDS OFF THE BASE LEGS, THERE ARE END CAPS UNDER THEM, I TOOK THESE OFF TO REPLACE THE BROKEN PIECES THAT YOU CAN SEE, AND SLIP THE BIG RUBBER FEET BACK ON AND NOBODY WILL BE THE WISER. STILL, IT'S BOTHERSOME TO ME. THAT BEING SAID THE RACK IS STURDY, HARDWARE IS EXELENT, AND IT IS A NICE UPGRADE FROM HAVING MANY TRIPOD LEGS ALL OVER AND DEFFINATLEY LESSENS THE FOOT PRINT AND CLEANS UP A TON OF SPACE ON TOP OF MAXIMIZING STABILITY. MY FOU STAR REVIEW IS DUE TO THE DAMAGE UPPON RECIEPT, BUT I UNDERSTAND IT'S NOT GIBRALTERS FAULT, IT'S MOST LIKELY THE AMAZON DELIVERY DRIVER.

I just started drumming and quickly ran out of room with all of the stands I had (small space). I decided to get this rack to help eliminate some. As it stands (pun intended), the only stand I have left is the HH. My snare has the single leg that rests on the floor and is held by the rack. Overall, racks are awesome! With that being said, for the price, I was disappointed. The tubes were scratched up and one has quite a large 'ding' in it. None of this affects it's use obviously, but for this much money, it should have been perfection!

I love and would recommend to any drummer. Wish I hadn’t waited so long before pulling the trigger.

If the one star guy, plays a bigger or heavier kit than me, idk what he’s doing. If not which I suspect, he’s not tightening the lock clamps included JUST TO STOP ROTATION! Omg I drives me nuts when people write reviews and don’t even use the product properly. And unless he hanging 22”, bass drums as Toms, hand tightened clamps, hold my 20” Chinas, 18” Heavy Crashes, 2Giant Concert Toms and a Ford level Gong 18”, Drum! The proof is in the pictures! And yes it’s a pearl icon + Gibraltar’s Stacked Up Rack! I play pearl Master Series Drums, and as anyone knows, on a large kit,( I use 2 24” bass drums), Pearl Icon Rack’s are the 1st starting point. Their system is unparalleled. HOWEVER, Over 35 years of playing, and technology, as well as gear acquisitions, I’ve come to learn something, GIBRALTER HARDWARE, is not only phenomenal, but it can be incorporated into a Pearl system with a couple simple/ cheap, support attachment bars. As seen in the picture, the configuration I’m using is named , ‘THE SCORPION”, because this is almost my full kit. And the Paiste 18”, Swiss or HOLY Crash, that splits the two 18”, Sabian Rock HHX Crashes, is inverted. Thus up and over and down, hence they scorpion’. IDK, what the 1 star uses for a kit, BUT YOU CAN SEE YOURSELF, my toes are 6”, 8”, 8” rocket Toms, 12”,13, Deep Concert Toms, and 8”, 10”, 12”, 14”, 16”, 16” rack Toms all the way around. Now I MOUNT THE ROCKET TOMS ON THE T SHAPED GIBRALTER FULLRACK MOUNTED AT THE CORNERS TO MY PEARL ICON 4 sided rack, using CYMBAL STANDS, and ‘Tama Style’ champ down mounts. My concert Toms, are mounted at the bottom of the Gibraltar posts, using Snare Baskets, w/ not feet. Rack Toms are on the icon rack, BUT ALL MY FRONT CRASHES, AND BOTH CHINAS, are mounts on the round Gibraltar configuration. ****** NOW I CAN GUESS 1 THING, if he mounted huge Toms, without locking clamps, (that tighten with a drum key, LIKE WE USE EVERYWHERE TO PREVENT SLIPPAGE), •although I’ve never had a piece move on me, and AGAIN, I’m holding up 40-50 lbs of equipment easily in front alone!!• My Recommend, I’m aPearl Drummer, but if I had to pay for my rack today, I’d go Gibralter, it’s equally strong, and easily 1/3 the price!!
