Had to get these to keep my double pedals from moving around on the bass pad for my e-kit. It came with two, the adhesive slipped right off of one of them but the other one end up working so I'm not too upset about it.

No fault with this item. Very simple (no drilling or screwing into hoops). Note where your pedal sits on your bass drum hoop, peel the backing off, and press it down. Install pedal to further press it, and you're set. Cheap protection that's simple and works as it was designed to.

I put these on all my bass drums! You get 2-pieces to suit your pedal style or for use on multiple drums. I've refurbished drums for years - these are cheaper than replacing a hoop. Highly recommended for protecting your hoops!

Works as advertised, protects the hoop from the pedal. I took off 1 star because it's a bit bulky for my pedal which make installing take just a second longer.

I was looking at the damage on my bass drum hoops and looking for a solution. I saw the Gibraltar YouTube video for this product. I loved the additional grip it provided for the pedal clamp.

You want to protect your bass hoop? You don't want to spend that much money? You want to have a backup? Buy this. It's simple and does the job. It doesn't protect the other side of the hoop so I've heard of people using this in combination with the metal protector that protects the other side, but for my needs, this is adequate.
