I had to squeeze it too much to be able to latch it to the slot. I feel it won’t last long cause it tilted too much. Better find a better seller! I hate that I had hard time fitting it to the slot without damaging the motherboard of my Mac.

MacBook Air wasn’t charging anymore. Repair place wanted $300 to fix the issue. Watched a video online on how to replace the part and did it myself. Laptop is charging once again! Easy-peasy inexpensive DIY fix!

I selected the correct connector. I matched up the model number. The original connector works but intermittently stops working and needs to be cleaned. I wanted to purchase a new connector to avoid having to clean it any time soon. I had to reinstall the original connector because this does not work.

USBポートが反応しなくなり、Appleサポートに持ち込むと思ってます35000円かかるとの見積もり。流石に高すぎるのでこのパーツを購入しました。サイトで交換方法を解説してくれているので見ながら、さほど難しくなく出来ました。USBポートの反応も復活したし、実質1/10の値段で修理できました。高額な修理費用が気になる方はリスクを承知の上で買って交換してるのもありかと思います。

This was such a great find!!! Apple wanted to charge from $350-$475 to replace this piece. When I received it, my husband helped install it, I have NOT had an issue since. I can’t believe these big monster companies love to rip off their customers. It’s very easy to instal with the right tools. I don’t have a video or pic of him I stalling it but it’s as if it had never happened…..

My two USB-C ports on my 2018 MacBook Air were both dead. I purchased this replacement part at a great price here on Amazon and it works perfect! Easy swap out using some iFixit instructions online. Only took 10-15 minutes. Everything works great now! Highly recommended to do it yourself and save lots of money.

Apple said the only way to fix my non-working USB ports was to replace the entire logic board. It would also cost over $450 and have to be shipped to a service center.I ordered this and got it delivered next day. Swapped it out in under 10 minutes and both USB ports are back to working like new.
