Not sure how long this button will last but it worked perfectly once I installed it. Looks identical to the original part that came with my Dell XPS 8700 back in 2013. If it works even 1/2 as long I'll be very satisfied.

The light on the button is monochrome, no white for on yellow for suspend, but I never paid much attention to that. Installation was quick and easy. On the XPS tower there is no need to remove any components, just some of the drive connectors to facilitate proper wire routing.

The power switch on my Dell desktop failed and this part comes all prewired with switch, lights and connector. It is a 5 minute repair job. An exact replacement for the original.

DELL ＸＰＳ8900 復活しました。スイッチを押しても起動しなくなり交換したら復活しました。電源の色が変わりコードは長めですが快適です。

Served as a good replacement for a Dell XPS 8700 power switch that died. I followed the instructions in the Dell manual to disassemble and get to the switch. Once I did that, the replacement was pretty straight forward. The only difference I notice from the original is that the power LED is now always amber when the machine is running. In the original, the power LED would be white for normal power state and amber in sleep state. Not sure if that is the intended behavior.
