Best spatula I’ve ever had for non- stick pans. Good quality and better for your health than others. Amazing how it slides right under a fried egg. A bit small but I’m very happy with it.

When I saw this spatula it looked a bit small for turning over an egg frying in a pan. I have a stainless steel pan that is small and that spatula flipped it over much better than my stainless steel spatula. I was so impressed. The size was no impediment in fact I think it is a feature and the cleaning is much much easier. I recommend this spatula well made and it just works!

I don’t know if it will become less slippery with use but it goes under burgers really easily. Best not use it for serving the burger because there is a good chance it will slip off the spatula.Well designed, my only quibble is that the handle is shorter than I would have liked. However, the length of the handle was clearly stated and therefore, that is my issue rather than the spatula.

I read about this spatula on Wirecutter and decided to try it. I've had so many spatulas some of which I like and others not at all. This is hands down the best one for me. It is heat resistant so can be used with non-stick pans and baking sheets as well as a baking spatula for getting all your batter or sauces out of a bowl or pan so it's versatile and like a 2 in 1 kitchen tool. Food doesn't slide off of it and it gets under the food so it is easy to flip eggs or burgers and not lose part of your food in the pan or sticking to the grill. Highly recommend.

I ordered this spatula after reading about it on NYT’s Wirecutter. I have a couple silicon/plastic spatulas that I use on my non-stick cookwear but they did not age well and were tough to clean (think eggs crusting on the tip and needing to soak and use brute strength to remove cement like yolk). The old spatulas also had ridges where the parts were assembled that got gunned up and were almost impossible to get clean.Flash forward to this new GIR product and there is a world of difference - it’s one piece, completely non-stick (even egg yolk) and looks like new after daily use since purchased. It’s also colorful and attractive. I liked it so much I bought a complete set of GIR cooking utensils and am very pleased with those as well. The only drawback to this particular spatula was that it was smaller than I expected - it can flip eggs and small things but not good for regular size pancakes etc. But for a smaller pan (10inches or less) it fits well when a bigger spatula was unwieldy so highly recommend for those using smaller skillets on a daily basis.
