How to Use:
Cut the PEI sheet to size by scoring with a hobby knife. There are two methods to attaching the PEI to your print bed. The first method is to just clamp the sheet to the print bed using binder clips. We find that 2 on each side works great. The second method, get 3M 468MP Transfer Tape and use it to stick the PEI to the print bed.Once the PEI sheet is attached, re-level your print bed and you are ready to go!
It helps to wipe the surface down with isopropyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, or soap in between prints. This will ensure the PEI is clean, and help adhesion. Light sanding with 5000 grit paper will also give the PEI sheet more life.MJCulross

I previously used PEI sheets that included the pre-applied adhesive. I kept having to replace the sheet long before the surface was worn out, when the adhesive would age, become dry/brittle, then start forming bubbles. I ordered this latest sheet specifically without the adhesive & I am both very impressed & very pleased with the positive change in the ease of keeping the prints-in-progress attached to the bed & the ease of release on my ABS prints. I simply follows another user's recommendation & used binder clips to hold the new sheet onto the heated glass print bed on my TAZ5 printer. I would highly recommend this product for that use !!

I was totally skeptical, but getting kinda desperate to find something long lasting for my printer bed. Wow, this stuff is crazy good! It appears to work with static electricity, if you rub a sheet of paper against it, the paper sticks harder and harder the more you rub it. I followed the instructions and laid this on my print bed with NO adhesive behind it, just clipped the corners. Once it heated to around 60C it lay perfectly flat, but now if a print sticks a little I can just peel-off the backing! Prints are actually SHINY, you can see your reflection in the bottom layer. Overall, I am just blown away. Wish I would have spent the money on this in the first place.

It has worked very well so far for PETG. It is also very easy to cut to size using a razor blade. I have mine installed atop the metal build plate on my CR10 and it stays very flat, as long as you use extra binder clips. The finish on the floor of the parts is like glass. Both sides of the plate will have a protective layer that you most definitely should peel off. It was hard to tell it had this layer on one of these sides, so it may be easy to forget it's there. Adhesion has been excellent even without a brim.

Followed the instructions on their website regarding cleaning with alcohol and even tried sanding the sheet per the recommendation if prints don’t adhere. I couldn’t get anything to stick. I know how to properly level a bed and had no issues with adhesion before using this sheet (I bought this to try to make removal easier).

Mistakenly got version without adhesive included but was able to use some double sided tape I had. Holds petg and pla very well, spraying with Windex before printing helps prevent over-adhesion pretty well. Stuff seems to just sheer off when cooled. Do like the glass-like finish provided on the bottomWish it was a bit bigger, my bed is fairly large and this is the biggest size that doesn't need cutting.Overall happy, price could be lower, seems like this hobby is one $20 item after another. It adds up.

I purchased cheap knock-offs (though I didn't know it, at the time) from other vendors. The difference in performance is significant. The ONLY thing for which this sheet has been anything less that OUTSTANDING has been PLA, with a bed temperature below 60C. Even then, this sheet operates well, unless the bed adhesion surface area is small. For this, of course, there is always glue. I can't offer enough praise to do this product justice. It has been my experience that, most times, it's worth the extra "couple of bucks" to just go ahead and get the premium product. There is a reason for the "premium."

I was having problems with build plate adhesion on my CR10S despite being leveled/taped/glue-stick/mirror tile/hairspray/borosilicate glass/ect. Then I tried this PEI sheet and I went from about 50% fails(first layer & shifting mid print) to I have done over 2k prints on it so far, after about 100 or so it started to look pretty gnarly with scratches, so I took some sandpaper to it, while it no longer does mirror finishes the gripping properties are unchanged. Some Cons:The bed must be heated to 55c or so, for even PLA to stick, you should also allow it cool to 45c or lower before you attempt to remove it.You need to get some adhesive transfer sheets(or maybe use some other method) to stick this to your bed. Clipping it down isn't going to cut it, it will warp when heated if not properly secured. Not really a con considering what most of us have used for bed adhesion, you should clean it with 90% (might get away with the 70 not sure though) Isopropyl alcohol every few prints.Notes:I have only printed PLA/PETG so far, If I happen to print some different materials I will update this review.I had purchased another one almost a year ago expecting the first one to fail eventually... at this point I think the printer may go first.

PEI is a must have (in my opinion) for 3D printing. I get great adhesion with this without needing to resort to glue, hairspray or anything else. I find that for best results, I have to print with a brim because it helps with removing the finished product. Sometimes I also have to pour a little isopropyl alcohol right next to the print/brim to help get it off, but that's okay because I use the alcohol to clean the bed anyway. You'll also want to make sure your bed is level...use a sheet of notebook paper and adjust the bed until the nozzle is grabbing at the paper. This helps "squish" the filament into the bed, giving that good grip, at least, that's what you should do for ABS and PLA. If you're printing in PETG, use a business card or a 2mm feeler gauge.

Buy this product! Being new to 3D printing, I tried the sheets of masking tape that came with the printer on the print bed. MISTAKE!!!What a mess. Next, the blue painter's tape route. While this worked pretty well, it kept getting torn up each time I removed a print. Then it wasusually necessary to re-tape the entire bed. That got old real quick. After reading some reviews, I decided to plunk down what I thought was a lot of money for a piece of "plastic". Boy, was I wrong. I've been using this for several days now and it has worked great. I just clean it with some rubbing alcohol before the next print and every thing works fine. I've only been using it with PLA so far and have the bed set to 60C. (although this may not be necessary), but the filament adheres beautifully and comes off very easily when done. No need to use a spatula. Things may change when I start using different types of filament, but so far I'm very pleased.
