This is exactly what I've been looking for in a butter dish! It's big enough to fit European sized butter sticks (like Plugra, my favorite, or Kerrygold), and it's actually air-tight!! I love that the base is sturdy glass, and the bamboo cover is a quality piece. It's taken me awhile to find what I was looking for. I'd highly recommend this one.

It's the perfect size for holding European butter and I like the spreader that comes with it. I also like that it's clear so that you can see how much is left and that you can put it in the dishwasher

I had been looking for a covered butter dish for a while and was initially thinking of the traditional glass dish with a glass cover. Once I found this though, I had to buy it!I love that the lid actually seals into the glass container base (won’t fall off) and love the little butter knife that fits into its slot on top of the lid to keep the knife and container together.The glass container is wider than I expected which is great for many different sizes of butter cubes or other spreadable products like a cream cheese block, for example. 10/10 Exceeding my expectations! 🙏

Very well made heavy glass with a tight fitting lid. This butter dish is the perfect size for a Kerry Gold size butter slab or cream cheese or a small block of cheese. The knife is perfect for scraping or cutting butter and/or cheeses. The slot on top for the knife keeps it handy.

My wife stopped using the butter dish from my Mom's good china set we inherited. Been using a plastic bowl, parked next to the stove.I put this there and easily got 1/2# of butter to fit into this glass utensil. The included butter knife works very well, and the glass help get the butter to room temperature.
