Most of this set arrived fine. It was well packaged, everything multiple wrapped in bubble tape in what amounts to a styrofoam cooler. However, there are large inclusions/air bubbles in some of the glassware that makes use under vacuum dubious at best. I tried to contact the merchant, but their English skills are more or less non-existent.The parts of the set that were un-flawed appeared to be fine although they've not been tested for temper yet.Protip to Nanshing: If you're going to ship something all the way from China, probably don't put your off-grade/factory reject products in the box. People have standards.I'd spend a few dollars more and go with a different brand next time just to have the luxury of better English speaking support.

This is an absolutely gorgeous set of glass for an incredibly low price. I'll try to post an update after its first exposure to heat to review the actual quality of the glass, but on face there are no visible flaws, the joints fit together very nicely, and the inclusion of rubber hose and a thermometer attachment is just icing on the cake. I suspect this set would be more than adequate to distill any number of things as long as you can source a good heat source for the glass - a heating mantle would be the best thing.
