This product really cleans out the disposal, but also all the lines that connect to the main kitchen drain. The cleaning action is quick and easy. Easy to follow instructions. Takes just a few minutes to perform a thorough cleaning. And all the residual foam washes away, it leaves a pleasant smell.

This was recommended by a professional cleaner for after each guest at an Airbnb, so we tried it. It seems powerful, smells great (I'm allergic to many scents), and cleans out the disposer and pipes well.

The cleaner itself works well and I didn't have the issue other reviewers mentioned about old stock or hard/clumpy powder. But if you want this product, I don't recommend buying it from Amazon or any other online retailer that needs to ship it by mail or courier. The little biodegradable bags holding the powder obviously weren't strong enough to stand up to the bumps and jostles of the shipping process. Almost all of the bags developed a small hole and a lot of the powder fell out. It was a huge mess inside the package that spilled out when I opened it, then when I cleaned it up it stained my skin blue. So I would recommend the product itself, but buy it in an in-person store if you can.

I've tried some of the 'home remedies' , but I recommend you buy this product - it really works well. They keep the garb-orator clean and odor free and are very easy and quick to use. We use the garb-orator a lot and clean it by using one pouch of this product every two weeks.

This is a great product for your garbage disposal. I had trouble getting it to foam, but found out I was using too much water. Somewhere between dripping and a semi-steady stream is what you want; appears to be less than a pencil width trickle. The scent isn't overwhelming like I guess I wanted it to be, but it certainly freshens up my old disposal when applied once every two weeks or so (as needed).
