When I was first purchasing this I was worried about the quality and if all the screwholes were gonna lineup properly. But after putting this on my Tr x four, it seems fine they work. They are heavy and most of the holes line up perfectly, I say almost because the rear portals had the 2 front hole slightly off but close enough to screw in. I would say you should only get this if you are experienced in doing upgrades to rc cars.

Came as described. Ordered 2 sets,both had a couple holes that didn't quit line up but was able to make them work. Nice and clean look when finished.

This was the least expensive complete brass set for my k10 trx4 and it was next day shipping when I purchased it. I kind of fell into this crawler scene, and it fits my engineering nature. I really enjoy working on these and doing the upgrades this tedious as they are, it’s very therapeutic. This set was machine perfectly and everything went together without any issues. I used red high tip lithium grease all the gears are as recommended by my local hobby shop owner. He said this will help keep the sealed housings, waterproof or water resistant I suppose. It took me two evenings about three hours for the front and three hours for the rear to put everything together. I took my time you could probably do it faster. I did wear out one of my Alan bits on my electric screwdriver because there’s so many screws to take apart so be ready for that. The weight is amazing it’s not too much and it crawls much better around inside the house on furniture and areas where it used to slip easily. I can’t wait to get it out some of my favorite hills and see how it does now because it tipped over a lot before. I highly recommend this kit and I’ll look at more parts from this brand.

The GLOBACT Brass outer portal housings are a very helpful upgrade to keep the center of gravity on your crawler low, and to help keep your wheels on the ground. The parts are well made and have a great look when installed. This upgrade is about the lowest upgrade in terms of height you can do to add weight to your rig. I have used this kind of covers before and they are a must have! Very happy with this product.
