Will not connect to 5G so if your household runs on 5G, this has to be set up in standard wifi connection, then you have to switch all your connections over to 5G after. Even then, it disconnects every time you lose power. Now, I've just gotten tired to having to unmount from the wall in order to reconnect to use the amazing lighting that it does come with when it's working properly. The set up is also an extreme pain to complete as well.

Somehow I managed to forget to install this for almost 2 years. Fortunately, it still works beautifully and I love being able to link it to Alexa. I am able to switch colors so easily as well as just turn on/off with either the app or Alexa. Installation was a breeze and I'm sorry I waited so long to do it. My previous fixture was depressingly old looking and this gives off a much more modern vibe! Love it - and I'm planning on getting another for the hallway soon!

True mood lighting that I've been looking for for a long time. Took no time at all to install and pair.Some minor cons:-Might just be the Tuya app I use to set the light but I can't set a 24-bit hexadecimal value for the color which is something the app is clearly doing itself.-The light desperately wants to pair with your wifi or it'll blink annoyingly for 5 or so min. indicating it's in pair mode when the switch is flipped. Would be nice to have a switch on the device that puts it in a "dumb" mode, but then again, you could always just buy a non-wifi enabled light.-Outside cover is really cheap plastic, but frankly no one will notice because the light looks so good.I'd give it 4.8 stars, but AMZ wants me to round up.

I was not big fan of the way how they look at first but they work. I bought two other(Taloya) lights but couldn't connect them to my home network and then i bought two Globe ones and after they were installed took me literally two minutes to add them to my home network.ill be getting more of thise lights.

So we just installed the light earlier today and we had issues pairing the phone with the light-- we didn't realize that fast blinking= EZ pairing (which is connecting via your home wifi) and slow blinking=AP pairing (which is connecting directly to the lights unique wifi hot spot) My wife figured that out before I did and got the light paired to her phone so now she is controlling the light in my office and using it to troll me from the other room. The videos and the instruction weren't 100% clear on that point and it was a bit of a headache but once we figured that out it worked great and that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars overall. The light is very bright and it remembers whatever setting you have it on if you manually flip the switch to turn it off as opposed to just using the app - which was another thing I was wondering about that hadn't really been addressed in any of the reviews that I saw. The installation and wiring were incredibly easy even though my house is old and the wiring is terrible. The light has three wires for connection Live, Neutral, and a grounding wire and it comes with everything you need to hook it up. So far I'm very satisfied with the product but if anything goes wrong I'll be sure to update this review.

I got these for all three of my kids bedrooms I love the fact that they work with Alexa and they love all the different color options available. Super easy to install and incredibly lightweight. The only complaint I could possibly have was pairing it was supposed to be easy but all three of them ended up taking me a little bit of time not sure if that’s an Internet issue on my end but once they were hooked up I have not had any issues at all and I would highly recommend .

The lights looked great when they worked, but the initial set required 6 attempts to work. Then, they continually disconnected from the WiFi network which meant you have to delete the light from the App, disconnect it from Google Home, and start the process all over.If you are willing to battle the app, and continually setup the app and lights, then these are the lights for you.If not, then they aren't worth it.

These arrived promptly.... interesting that they were in retail box with no amazon packaging... just a label on the outside. The wires had obviously been connected before but the condition of the item seemed fine.It took 4 tries to Get it to connect to the Globe Suite software which is the most trouble I have ever had with the brand .... I try to buy globe only to keep the automation ecosystem in my home as clean as possible. Once connected, discovery with Google home was a breeze. The lights are good and all the promised settings operate as expected. There is a dark patch in the middle of all the lights which I did not expect. There is an occasional flicker that I catch out of the corner of my eye, but it is not a big issue. The “mood” settings all work fine although only through the gone app... not through Google home.

Product works amazing and super bright! Currently using this where a previous wired fire alarm was, to help hide the hole and add light to that area of the room.Make sure to sync the product with Smart Life, instead of Globe Suite. Globe Suite recently merged their support with Smart Life, so you can use just one app! Most smart home items use either Kasa TP-Link or Smart Life, so this was great to help consolidate the apps. Make sure to use 2.4ghz internet, as it won't sync on a 5ghz network.Only problem is that when I try to dim the lights, there is a slight humming, so my lights are always set to 100% brightness for now.
