They are produced from durable ABS plastic and offer a hinged lid for easy opening and closing. An inventory sheet is located on the inside cover for convenient slide identification and organization. The base of the box is cork lined for added protection. Available in four sizes, these storage boxes accommodate 25 x 75mm and 1 x 3" microscope slides.

The box is flat on the front, opening it is extremely difficult. I would worry about putting any actual microscope slides in since they would fly out once I could finally pry this box open. It needs a latch or something on the front, I was only able to open it after prying a butter knife between the shell. It is not usable in its current state and I will be returning it.

Box sides seem to bow inward at the center, making the box too narrow to fit standard glass slides without angling them--sometimes extremely. Luckily for my needs, I do not need all 25 spaces. Disappointing nonetheless, and I will be looking elsewhere in the future.
