Getting Started
Begin by measuring the circumference of the Transmission Cooler Line. A circumference of 1-1/4" is needed for the 3/8" Transmission Line T-Fitting to fit properly.
Cut the Cooler Feed Line
Cut 1-1/8” out of the cooler feed line with a pipe cutter in the location where you are installing the T-fitting.
Install the T-Fitting
Install the cooler line T-fitting’s female fittings over each end of the cut line. Then place the metal cutting rings over each end of the cooler line.
Thread in the Sensor
Install the 1/8-27 NPT temperature sensor into the port on the T-fitting housing. Be sure to wrap Teflon tape on the threads of the sensor to prevent leaks.

Says it's for a 3/8" line. Actually measures at 7/8" and was way to big.

I wish it was sold with hose barbs for the trans cooler flex lines instead of hardlines.

Amazing product, works exactly as it should. I put a new pan on with a drain plug and if anything I was worried that this t fitting would leak...nope the drain plug leaked and this is spotless. I measured my trans line with a micrometer and the outside dimensions were around 3/8. Says it's for a ford but itll fit anything with a 3/8 trans line. I installed mine on a 03 5.7l Ram.
