Flavored ices in a cup taste so much better when eaten with a wooden spoon. Just like when I was a kid. Love using them again for this.

I was sitting down to write this review for wooden spoons and was mystified about a request for a rating for Flavor. I don't often eat wooden spoons and if they were supposed to have a flavor I am happy that mine did not. It would have ruined using them for their intended purpsose,Finally. I can eat my Marino Italian ices the way they were meant to be eaten - with a wooden spoon that does not break 1/4 of the way through. I cannot eat Italian ices with a metal or plastic spoon. They just don't taste right. The ones I have purchased from craft stores in the past have inevitable cracked while I was nowhere near being finished. These spoons held up though the whole ice and made me enjoy it as much as I did when I was 10 years old (I am 71 now). Very happy with my purchase.

These aren't just for ice cream! I made peach cobbler for a church tasting event. I put the cobbler in the bigger size condiment plastic cups, and these spoons were perfect.

these spoons are good for ice cream and other things - you have the option of washing the spoon you use and using it over again -or reach for a fresh spoon.

If you keep a stocked First Aid Kit, you might want to package some of these in a zip-lock bag and use them to apply antibiotic cream on sensitive wounds. My doctor had given me a few tongue depressors to take home, and when I ran out of them, I thought these might do the trick because they are shorter and would not be so wasteful. You can compost them when using them traditionally for home-made ice cream. They are biodegradable, so I prefer these over using plastic gloves as long as I sterilize my hands and keep these packaged well and not touch the part that I will apply to the wound, I can squeeze the Polysporin out onto the clean surface and not worry about having the tube gummed up with bacteria. Also, the surface is smooth and does not irritate the wound when using it this way.

I used these to make pudding popsicle with my instant pot egg bites container. They worked perfectly. They look just like the little wooden spoons you used to get with the single serving ice cream cups when I was a kid.

We used these wooden sticks as spoons... spoons to dig into pudding.. pudding shots (shooters) that is. They dig the trick & my guests were impressed.

Purchased these wooden spoons to use as applicators for DIY products such as body creams and deodorants, as need more and more hygienic options to avoid using hands and fingers in and out of jars. I was worried they may have splinters. So far, they have been perfect!! No rough edges and no splinters. Great product at an great price.
