Utilisé souvent en rando au sol pour éviter de cailler la nuit; bien pratique mais assez fragile: il se déchire un peu partout sur les bords et je le rafistole au scotch d'électricien; du coup qualité médiocre

Purchased for hunting backpack in case I get stuck while out in the mountains while hunting. Hoping I never have to use it!! Super small and light, does not take up much critical space in the backpack or add weight.

For many years I have kept emergency gear in the trunk of my car. A spare set of clothing, a pair of shoes, a blanket, some bottled water, etc ...This extremely lite-weight sleeping bag has made an excellent addition to that gear. I hope that I never need to use it, but I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not having it.

I think most people reviewing this are missing the point. This is not meant to be an item that you reuse multiple times. This is meant to be in a life-or-death emergency situation, it will keep you warm until you can find help, type of thing. And for its intended purpose, it's perfect. Its lightweight, easy to pack in the car, and easy to use to warm yourself up in an emergency situation. Yes, the string comes out of the whistle part easily so that you can use both the string and the whistle in an emergency. It is very simple to just string the whistle through the paracord and slide on the cord lock to hold it in place. I really worry about everyone out there in an actual emergency situation if you can't come up with a simple solution like that. I wish those people luck. (They're going to need it.)

I have received my order on time and in perfect condition. The reason why I chose Life Bivy, is because I was looking to make an emergency kit. After reading reviews, looking at photos and youtube videos, the Life Bivy was definitely for me. It is very versatile, packs down very small, light weight (not dense), reflects 90% percent of your body heat (great for me, because I am always cold) and has great quality and price. Not to mention water & wind proof, can build a shelter, has an emergency whistle and in case if I need something to start a fire with, I have the paracord drawstring. I can even use the bag to carry other items or as an emergency reflector (Great graphics: Clear, Precise and Useful). Plus, I have the choice to pick which color I prefer. Other bivy's on the market are not versatile at all. They don't reflect 90% percent of body heat and if they do your paying 40-50 dollars, if not more for no heat and no quality. Your product is great for everyone. From emergency (preparedness), outdoors activities (definitely for your ultra light backpackers) and just to give as a gift. Thank you for your terrific product.

I bought this just in case of an emergency (SHTF) where I would really need a survival bag, to save my life.I'm not gonna just take it out and play with it and chance ruining it.This manufacturer has some pretty reliable products so I will chance that it's just as great as other items they have.Remember, it's not stated to be used as an everyday sleeping bag. It supposed to save your arse in case you get into trouble or a SHTF situation.I think I'm gonna have to buy 11 more and keep 2 in every vehicle and 1 in each "get-the-heck-out-of-town" bags.So to sum it all up, I believe I got an excellent product at a really great co$t.

We bought these LIFE BIVY to keep in our vehicle in the event of an emergency on the road. We travel a lot during the winter and like to be prepared with extra blankets, shovel, flashlight, snacks, etc. Although that emergency hasnt happened, thankfully, we tested the bags by wearing them over simple clothing and shoes and sitting outside in PA's 30'F winter. We were still warm and dry after an hour. My husband tucked his coffee mug inside his bag but that produced condensation which made him cold sooner. I could have stayed out there for much longer. The bags pack up very small so they dont take up much space at all, are a comfortable, roomy fit, light and surprisingly very warm. I'll be ordering several more for our children who also drive in the winter. Great addition to our safety kits during storms of all kinds too. I only wish I could convince our cat to sit still inside it with me! Great find!

Adding the Life Bivi recently to my EDC bag, greatly increased my survivability. It's a tiny portable shelter and packs so well in your kit or ties on anywhere, that you'd be silly not to include in your EDC or Bug out Bag. See more at my website if you need but this is an essential item for your survival. Thanks for the great product!

If you are considering an "emergency" bivy sack, this is a good one to purchase. But note, this is for emergencies and survival. This is not something to carry around figuring that you would use it on a daily basis. Based on reviews, too many folks think that this is a substitute for carrying a sleeping bag. It is NOT. This item is lightweight and packaged in a convenient sack. Yes if you take it out to inspect, it does take a while to fold back up and to put in the sack. Also note, do not stick a sleeping bag inside this bivy unless in an emergency and you are getting drenched. This sack does not "breath" and you'll get condensation build up. I can't stress enough, this bivy sack is for emergencies and to keep you alive. It will protect you from precipitation and retain body heat. An item such as this is essential to any "bug-out" kit or back pack. I keep one in my truck and carry one whenever packing in the back country. IF I ever have to use this bivy sack, I plan to use it only once! Highly recommended.
