Diffuser spreads light well but S-adapter doesn’t fit softbox properly, too tight. Definitely makes quick set up impossible.

Best small soft box with grid/mount for its price. Functionality is fantastic, portable bag makes everything easy to carry and easy to put together if you've done a soft box before. Beginners, this is the way to go.

When photographing, this softbox allows me a nice soft light. It's so compact that i can make my way anywhere without worrying of occupying unnecessary space when in public transport.

I typically shoot with a two speed light and umbrella setup. I use this for single speed light with grid to control the amount of light on my subject. Works well when ambient light can be controlled separately and the one speed light.

The output isn’t anything like they show in their product photos. I tried my best to get that bright soft light, couldn’t. Eventually returned it. Is well constructed and good quality. Nice carry on bag.

I got this kind of last minute for a photo shoot I was doing out of town. It had to be small enough to go in my carry on but be big enough to get the light I needed for a newborn shoot. This puppy checks all the boxes. The speed light clamp Is soft silicone, easy to tighten and as far as I can tell is flawless. Collapsing it is a little tricky the first time, but there is a video out there in the interwebs that will help you. One of the best lighting purchases I have made. Stupidly, the review section will not let me add photos already on my phone, so I can’t share any photos. Some people complained about the way the mount doesn’t actually attach to the back of the soft box and that’s true, but for me in my situation it was a non-issue. If you were in the whipping wind, you might have a problem, but if you’re planning on shooting in the whipping wind, you would need to be very prepared for those types of things anyway. Overall, this soft box is a big win in my book.

I needed a pair of small soft boxes and I already own a pair of the Godox 32" sq. version of these that I'm very happy with, so I ordered these. They are every bit as good as their larger version. I have been experimenting with them using speedlites to see how much light spread that I get, but haven't used them for a photo shoot yet. I'll also be trying them with small 300 w/s monolights to see what they do. So far, I am very happy with the results that I'm getting. There are times when this size really fits the need and these should do very well, when the larger size just doesn't fit the need.
