good substitute for B & D Workmate

This is a great folding work space for the cost. I have a B and D Workmate, which is the King Daddy of folding work tables, and i have a Harbor Freight version which is very good and is heavy duty. I got this one because i use these all the time for small projects around my home...inside and out. This one is light to medium duty only, but thats most of my general projects. It is essy to assemble in 20 minutes. Hardware is good and all the holes lined up. I used a battery ratchet on the bolts and drill driver on the screws. Very easy. The parts feel flimsy as you assemble it, but once done and tightened, it is surprisingly sturdy. There is no flex once its opened and on the floor. The clamp vise works well once oiled up. Im happy with this version, espesially for the low cost.

To low to to light to work on wood carving not even to draw can't lean on it or anything so not sure for what type of work would this table be good for.😔

Heavy duty steel? I think not. Might work ok but it is very thin steel (maybe steel). Not sure about the longevity of this item.
