I really like the feel of this level. Goldblatt has been around forever. This level has great sight lines for the bubbles. Easy to view horizontally with the horizontal viewfinder. No leaning to the side to see if you have level. The grips are good. It is wider than my previous level. But the weight is not heavy. I expect many years of use from this level.

I selected this level to replace my 35 year old Sears Level. The vials are bright and easy to read. The body of the level is a study construction. the red color makes it easy to spot.

May sound trivial but the bright red color is a time saver cause if I need it I can see easily . Also the end feet are more like rubber than plastic so holds to a wall or other object better. Also the level vials have more light collecting areas around them which is a plus . A little heavier than some 4 footers but should be sturdier .

This is a great level and straight edge. I wish is was made of thicker aluminum, but because it is light it’s very easy to manipulate with one hand. This comes in handy if you’re work piece is in one hand and you maneuver the level with the other it’s easy to read, others complained about this in reviews. Great for a DIY person for sure.
