1 out of 4 was defective. Other 3 worked perfectly. When winding up the magazine, it took only about 20-25 turns to work. I know not to over tighten the wind up because that can break it, but the defective one kept winding with no feeling the spring was getting tighter. No sound of anything breaking either. I opened up the magazine shell and a little piece of plastic fell out. After investigating I found that plastic piece was part of the gear that winds and tightens up the spring. And several of the holes to screw into were cracked indicating that during installation they screwed it together too tight. I still gave 3 stars because the other 3 worked perfectly fine.
