I love these as a self starter project for my first graders. They loved writing and watching the colors appear. 3 stars because they can be tricky to sharpen. Don’t get them too sharp or they break the lead.

I purchased these as gifts for my 1st grade students. The colors are bright and the kids love writing and drawing with them. They have even motivated some of my more reluctant students to write. Highly recommend!
